Milko Štimac has been active in the field of capital markets for 20 years. Štimac was a founder and the former Director of the G17 Institute. He has worked on the stock exchanges of Chicago and Belgrade, and led the Privatization Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the Institute for Economic and Social Research. Štimac served for ten years as a Chairman and a Commissioner of the Serbian Securities Commission. He has conducted extensive research on capital markets, participated in numerous conferences, task forces, and projects in Serbia and abroad, and published many articles and several books (in Serbian), including History of Stock Exchange Trading in Serbia and Fundamentals of Stock Exchange Operations.
